Magic Battle: 6 day course (5pm)

How it works:

Young writers join the live workshop at their group time for their 1 hour live class.

Each workshop class focuses on building 1 part of their story and has a main writing skills focus

During the workshop, learners start writing their story using the skills practiced
-
After class learners finish their writing and post it on the shared writing board.

The teacher posts written feedback on every student's writing in the afternoon.

Students have the option to book a 1-1 feedback session during the camp for extra writing help!
Our writing workshops are designed to be interactive and encourage young writers to create their own stories. This holiday, we will take students on a journey through their imagination and build writing skills along the way!
Theme: Your character discovers magical powers...the adventure starts!
The skills focus of the imaginative writing classes is to develop vivid, descriptive, sensory and emotional language skills. These are skills we focus on during our courses which students often need extra practice and support to develop.

Our workshop is taught by Lorna Day, a UK qualified teacher (MA Eds) and expert in student writing and student motivation.
​
The classes are designed inspire and support students of different ability levels.
