The Little Creative Writers Summer Camp is back! We will be delivering fun, interactive creative writing workshops for groups of children age 8-10, to boost writing skills and go on a creative journey!
​
The focus of the work shops will be creating fun writing challenges which focus on building one essential story writing skill per class. The UK qualified teacher will use great model examples, shared writing practice, with our expert designed visual language toolkits to support children on their writing journey.
Our skill stretching toolkits are available for children to download and keep after class to make your own Creative Writing Workbook to continue supporting writing at home or in school after the workshop is over.
The fun, interactive small group classes use open tasks with lots of teacher support so that writing challenges allow students to bring their own ideas and imagination to life. This also makes our classes suitable for mixed ability levels. The teacher pops into student rooms during independent writing
tasks to give extra individual coaching and challenging students to go further with their ideas and writing. We also have extra stretch extension challenges for keen and advanced writers who want to take their writing even further.
Students share their stories after each class on the shared writing board. This is a great way for students to learn from their peers and creates a real community of young writers. The teacher gives each child individual written feedback on every piece of writing posted. The feedback focusses on what the students are doing well, and will give one area to extend to help really bring their story to life.

The class is run through our student portal which is a private webpage which makes the course easy for students and parents to access. Zoom links, writing toolkits, shared writing boards and contact for your teacher are all found on the writing camp study site which helps students and teachers connect throughout the camp.

Little Writers Camp Classes:

Its getting creepy: mystery and suspense slowing down the action/ 5 senses
